Fundraising
Each participant in the Roche Constructors Wapiyapi Classic is required to fundraise a minimum of $200, but we encourage you to set your goals higher. It costs $800 to send one child who has been affected by cancer to Camp Wapiyapi for a week. Top fundraisers in the ride will be eligible for great prizes and benefits. The top 20 fundraisers will start the ride with Lance Armstrong in a wave of their own. The top 10 fundraisers will have the opportunity to attend a pre-ride party hosted by Lance. Please use the information below to help you in your fundraising efforts.

Top Fundraiser Prizes
Top fundraisers will be eligible for great prizes and benefits. The top 20 fundraisers will start the ride with Lance Armstrong in a wave of their own. The top 10 fundraisers will have the opportunity to attend a pre-ride party the evening before the ride hosted by Lance. The first place fundraiser will receive a Trek Madone 5.2 and the second place fundraiser will receive an Aspen weekend getaway for two including hotel, lift tickets and massages.
Fundraising totals for the determination of top fundraiser prizes will be calculated on Wednesday 9/21 at 11:59PM, however, we will continue to accept donations after that time and we encourage participants to keep fundraising for this great cause.
Creating a Fundraising Account
To setup your own fundraising account, please visit http://www.active.com/donate/wapiyapi2011, then click on the “Become a Fundraiser” tab at the top of the page and follow the instructions for setting up your fundraising page. After registering on Active.com you should receive an e-mail with these same instructions.
Returning Participants
If you participated in the 2010 Wapiyapi Classic, you can log in with their username and password at www.active.com/donations and select your fundraising page from last year from the drop down menu. You can then click on the “View Reports” tab to view the donations made to your page.
Donating to a Rider's account
To make a donation to a specific rider’s fundraising page, please go to: http://www.active.com/donate/wapiyapi2011. Please remember to type the rider’s name at the top of the page where it says, “Find a fundraiser to support” before contributing.
Check Donations
Donations to Wapiyapi can be made using checks. In order to make sure that your donation is assigned to the correct participant, please right his/her name on the memo line of the check, fill out and enclose a copy of this fundraising form with the check, and mail to the address below.
